I am a registered Clinical Psychologist based in Noordhoek, Cape Town in the Western Cape, South Africa.
I provide a range of clinical and therapeutic services and work with individuals of all ages and life stages.

Before entering the mental health field, I worked in the media and advertising industry for more than 20 years. Through my engagement with people and extensive travel, I've learnt invaluable skills that I have brought into my work. I also developed a keen interest in people and how they relate to others, which led to my entry in the field of Psychology.
I practice within a relational frame, as I believe that we develop into the people we are through our relationships throughout our lives. These experiences can lead to positive and negative outcomes.
I am aware that everyone's life experiences and challenges are unique, and as such I draw on various modalities in order to provide tailored care.
Through providing a safe and supportive therapeutic space, an understanding of your needs and means to overcome the challenges you face, can be gained.

Professional Experience
I studied at the University of Cape Town where I completed my Masters of Arts, specialising in Clinical Psychology.
My Internship took place at Lentegeur Psychiatric Hospital in Mitchells Plain, Cape Town. I worked within the Intellectual Disability Unit, The Child and Family Unit, Forensic inpatient unit, and Adult therapeutic and outpatient units. I also worked at Du Noon Community Health Clinic providing primary mental health care to the community.
Following that I completed my community service at Pollsmoor Correctional Services where I worked with female offenders and mothers and babies in their on-site Baby-Mother Unit. I worked with individuals of all ages, and have experience in the assessment, management and treatment of a range of psychological and psychiatric issues.
